Description

On March 22, 2016 an explosion took place on a train at the Maalbeek/Maelbeek metro station. Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack. This suicide bombing took place one hour after the IS attack on Brussels' Zaventem airport. In total 32 persons died and over 300 were wounded due to these attacks.
